This role is on an FTC until March 2026 and the successful candidate must have a full UK driving licence with access to their own car.
Your typical day could start with providing tailored support to vulnerable customers living independently, ensuring they can maintain their tenancies and thrive. You’ll work closely with individuals facing challenges with drug & alcohol dependency as well as mental health issues, health conditions, or employment barriers, offering guidance to help them build essential life skills. Then, you might assist customers in navigating welfare benefits or liaise with external agencies to ensure they receive the right support.
As an Outreach Support Worker, you’ll focus on creating a supportive environment, helping individuals overcome challenges and sustain their tenancies. You'll play a key role in crisis intervention, empowering customers to live independently and confidently.
You are compassionate, proactive, and committed to supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds. Your strong interpersonal skills and understanding of housing support needs will help you make a real difference in your customers' lives.

To be a success in this role, you’ll need:
- Demonstrable experience (professional or voluntary) supporting customers with drug & alcohol dependency.
- Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs, health-related issues, and employment/training challenges.
- Knowledge or understanding of housing support needs and benefits.
- The ability to provide pre-tenancy guidance and ongoing tenancy support.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
