Do you have experience in general repairs or multi-trade work? Are you skilled in carpentry, joinery, and various maintenance tasks? If so, you could be the Multi Trade Operative we're looking for at Peabody.

As a Multi Trade Operative, you'll carry out a range of maintenance tasks within our housing stock, ensuring high-quality repairs and installations. Your work will help maintain the safety and comfort of our residents' homes.

You'll perform tasks such as general carpentry, joinery, fitting sanitary ware, plastering, and other repairs. Focusing on delivering a 'Right First Time' fix, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard, providing excellent customer service and professionalism.

You'll collaborate with colleagues and liaise with relevant staff as needed, adhering to all relevant policies, including health and safety, safeguarding, and equality and diversity.

You'll need a relevant qualification (e.g., recognised apprenticeship, NVQ level 1, City & Guilds Certificate). You'll have a good understanding of health and safety requirements relevant to the role, attention to detail, and pride in your work. Good verbal and written communication skills, the ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively, a full UK driving license, and your own trade-specific hand tools (power tools will be supplied).
