As a Senior Project Manager within the Alternative Funding team, you’ll lead and oversee key workstreams, ensuring that projects run smoothly and deliver real value. You’ll manage everything from programme and budget coordination to procurement, risk management, and stakeholder engagement – all while keeping Peabody’s customers front and centre in your planning and decision-making.

You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships, and driving forward joint ventures and funding opportunities that help grow our business. Supporting negotiations, managing legal agreements, and assessing development pipeline opportunities will all be part of your day-to-day work, ensuring we stay competitive and compliant in an evolving housing market. You’ll be managing your own projects of large-scale property disposals alongside assisting with the establishment of new strategic funding joint ventures. You will play a key role in the team, coaching and supporting junior team members, helping to create an inclusive and productive environment where everyone thrives.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract and you’ll be required to work in the Westminster Bridge Road office 2 days per week.

Could it be you?

To be a success in this role, you’re:

  • Experienced in leading and managing multi-disciplinary internal and external teams.
  • Commercially aware with strong project management skills
  • Highly organised with proven time management and prioritisation skills
  • An effective communicator with experience of managing stakeholder relationships and the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate desired outcomes
  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent (desirable) and hold a Project Management qualification (desirable)
  • Able to demonstrate a proven track record of large-scale property transactions/acquisitions, including managing the due diligence process and enquiries.
  • Knowledgeable of the affordable housing sector
