In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing Peabody’s People Strategy, ensuring our Colleague Offer effectively attracts, retains, and develops the talented individuals required to achieve our ambitious goals.

With your extensive background in HR leadership and strategic people management, you will have a customer-centric, values-driven approach. Your expertise in navigating complex organisations will enable you to align HR strategies with business objectives and to promote continuous learning, engagement, and overall wellbeing, through our Peabody Academy and management development programmes.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Building and leading a high-performing, client-focused team to partner strategically with the business.
  • Delivering innovative People Operations services, including safeguarding in employment, policy development, and people analytics.
  • Enhancing leadership and management capability across the organisation to support ongoing continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring our employment offering reflects our values and promotes collaboration.
  • Leading on talent acquisition and fostering an inclusive, diverse and inspiring workplace.

You will leverage your experience in strategic people management to providing solutions that go beyond traditional processes. Your agile and responsive approach will meet the dynamic needs of our business, ensuring proactive, tailored support for internal stakeholders. Financially literate and with a solutions-focussed mindset, you will inspire the People team to remain flexible, innovative, and focused on delivering highly effective results.
