As a Data Quality Lead, you will play a key role in driving data excellence across our organisation. You will be responsible for developing and managing a robust data quality programme to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of our data. This is an exciting opportunity to lead initiatives that transform how data is managed and used, directly impacting business performance.

You’ll be an experienced Data Quality professional who can deliver solutions to complex data challenges, build relationships with stakeholders, and foster a culture of data ownership. You’ll work closely with Data Owners, Stewards, and Analysts to identify issues, recommend improvements, and implement quality measures. With your leadership, you’ll ensure that the organisation’s data aligns with operational priorities and supports decision-making at all levels. You will be required to be in the office a minimum of two days per week

You’ll manage and mentor a Data Quality Analyst, empowering them to deliver impactful results while ensuring your domain’s data quality meets the highest standards. With strong technical skills in tools such as SQL, Power BI, and Excel, you’ll also help create clear metrics and scorecards to track progress, identify trends, and highlight areas for improvement. A strong understanding of business processes and an ability to communicate the importance of data governance will be central to your success.

To be successful in this role, you’re:

  • experienced in analysing qualitative and quantitative data, and understanding of the connections between business processes, research methods and data quality
  • an excellent communicator - both written and verbally and able to influence staff across all levels of an organisation
  • have excellent IT skills including in data analysis tools and software (including SQL, Excel, Power BI).
  • knowledgeable of housing association operations and key performance indicators (desirable)
  • experienced in managing staff in a data focused role
  • hold a degree (or equivalent) in an area relevant to data quality (desirable)
