Your day could start with an early patrol around the estate, checking for any security concerns or abandoned vehicles before heading to meet a resident experiencing anti-social behaviour. Then, you might attend a multi-agency meeting with the police and housing officers to discuss ongoing cases. Later, you could be serving a tenancy enforcement notice, supporting a vulnerable tenant, or gathering evidence for a legal case. No two days are the same, and every day you’ll be making a difference in your community.

As a Neighbourhood Warden, you’ll be a visible and approachable presence, helping to keep our estates safe, tackling low and high level anti-social behaviour, environmental issues and ensuring residents feel supported. You’ll work closely with local agencies, community groups, and internal teams to solve issues and improve the quality of life for residents. From carrying out investigations and collecting evidence to offering advice and enforcing tenancy conditions, your role will be varied and rewarding.

You’ll have excellent communication skills and a personable and empathetic approach. If you’re passionate about making our communities safer and supporting residents, we’d love to hear from you.

To be successful in this role, you’re:

  • experienced in a customer-facing or enforcement role, ideally within housing, community safety, or tenancy management.
  • confident with a resilient approach to handling challenging situations.
  • strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
  • knowledgeable of tenancy enforcement, anti-social behaviour legislation, and community safety initiatives.
  • able to work collaboratively with partners and residents to find solutions.
  • flexible and able to work varying start and finish times on occasion

This role will require a Basic DBS check and a full UK driving licence.
