Peabody reaccredited with Certified Sustainable Housing label

The label is an accreditation recognised by companies and investors across Europe and helps ratify and benchmark our sustainability performance and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) credentials.

This year, for two areas of the ESG dimensions Social and Governance, we were awarded the highest ‘Frontrunner’ status and ‘Ambassador’ status for Environmental.

We went through a rigorous process as part of the accreditation including being assessed against ESG metrics aligned with the UK’s Sustainable Reporting Standard and a materiality analysis which looked at the potential impact of sustainability and ESG issues on the organisation.

This year’s process was also particularly meticulous with RITTERWALD assessing against increased requirements for the Certified Sustainable Housing Label.  

This is the first RITTERWALD accreditation for the new Peabody Group, following our merger with Catalyst in April 2022.

ESG plays an integral part across the Peabody Group and the RITTERWALD accreditation is one part of our sustainability journey. We reported against the Sustainable Reporting Standard for Social Housing in our second ESG report last year.
